RALEIGH, N.C. (June 2) – The Saint Augustine's University (SAU) Department of Athletics has announced that Master Tours is the title sponsor of the 2022 Lawrence Coleman Golf Tournament, which will be held Friday, June 17th, at Hedingham Golf Course.
Funds raised from the golf tournament will help SAU Athletics in its mission to provide student-athletes with a first-class experience at Saint Augustine's University.
"We are thrilled that Master Tours is the title sponsor," SAU Athletic Director David Bowser said. "I am excited about the partnership. Master Tours shares our values of supporting student-athletes."
Based out of Greensboro, N.C., Master Tours is a bus and coaching company that specializes in ground transportation for professional, semi-professional and collegiate sports teams including SAU Athletics.

This sponsorship hopefully marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with the university, and we look forward to serving as more than just the bus company."
This is the second year of the golf tournament, named in honor of Coleman. He was the legendary head golf coach at then-Saint Augustine's College for 37 years before his retirement in 2009.
Under his guidance, the Falcons won five HBCU Division II national titles, one HBCU overall national crown, and seven CIAA conference championships. President Clinton invited the golf team to the White House after winning the HBCU overall national title in 1993.
A 1971 Saint Augustine's graduate, Coleman passed away last year. He is in the National Black Golf and CIAA Halls of Fame.
