SAU Athletics Names Interim Director of Spirit Squads

RALEIGH, N.C. (Aug. 18) – Keinia Krzewski was officially named the Interim Director of Spirit Squads by the Saint Augustine's University (SAU) Department of Athletics recently.

Krzewski will coach the cheerleading, dance and tumble teams in addition to overseeing the mascots. Plans are in the works to start both dance and tumble teams at SAU.

Affectionally known as "Coach K", Krzewski is also the head junior varsity cheerleading coach at Southeast Raleigh High School. She was an assistant cheer coach at Shaw University for three years after graduating there in 2018 with a sociology degree.

At Shaw, Krzewski was an All-CIAA cheerleader during the 2014-15 season. She received the team's coaches award in 2016 for her outstanding dedication to cheerleading.

She is a native of Fayetteville, N.C.
