Dominique Pounds is in his second year with the Saint Augustine’s University football program as the recruiting coordinator and defensive assistant. This is his first year as director of football operations.
Pounds is also the defensive coordinator with the Carolina Seminoles football club and the defensive line and offensive line coach for the Carolina Punishers football club.
Before coming to SAU, Pounds held various coaching positions with the Wake Forest (N.C.) Alpha Dogs Football Club from 2012 to 2017 including defensive coordinator, wide receivers coach and defensive back coach. Pounds assisted on the Millbrook (N.C.) High School coaching staff in 2004.
A Morrisville, N.C., resident, Pounds graduated from Fayetteville State University in 2000. He is a member of the Triangle Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
