Phil Council is in his first year as safeties and outside linebackers coach.
Before embarking in the coaching profession, Council attended Fayetteville State University where he was football manager and student assistant linebackers coach. He directed pregame prep and ws the daily film coordinator for team practices in addition to organizing film for team meetings.
Council also managed game-day sideline setup, equipment for long distance traveling and meal prep when the team traveled to away games.
A Raleigh, N.C., native, Council graduated from Fayetteville State with a business administration degree in 2021.
