Tra'Niqua McLaughlin was named Interim Compliance Assistant at Saint Augustine's University in April 2022.

Her responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring that students-athletes are within compliance according to NCAA Rules and Regulations.

  • Completing required paperwork accurately and timely per the university and NCAA standards.

  • Ensuring that all NCAA reports are completed and submitted in correspondence with their respective due dates.

  • Attending webinars and conferences to better understand NCAA Rules and Regulations.

  • Assisting student-athletes in understanding the importance of maintaining good academic standing.

  • Assisting in understanding NCAA Rules and Regulations in regards to the expectations of student-athletes and coaches.

A Fayetteville, N.C., native, McLaughlin graduated in 2019 from Fayetteville State University, where she was an office assistant in the athletic department. McLaughlin arranged conferences and meetings, made travel arrangements and maintained schedules. She also organized internal and external events and maintained filing and inventory procedures.
