HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Saint Augustine's College dropped its baseball season opener 21-7 to Coker College Tuesday (Feb. 16) at Tom J. New Field.

Chris Vette (Jr./Hampton, Va.) drove in two runs for the Falcons, who collected 12 hits but had seven errors. Rashad Ingram (Jr./Savannah, Ga.) was 4-for-5 with a run and one RBI, and Joe Pierce (Jr./Wetumpka, Ala.) was 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.

Wayne Lewis (So./Charlotte, N.C.) and Alex Howard (So./Wilson, N.C.) both scored and drove in a run, and Josh Bishop (Jr./Richmond, Va.) scored two runs for the Falcons, who visit Saint Paul's College in a CIAA doubleheader Wednesday (Feb. 17) which starts at 1 p.m.
