RALEIGH, N.C. – A three-RBI day by Daveed Todd (Jr./Chicago, Ill.) helped Saint Augustine's College down Lincoln (Pa.) University 9-5 Sunday, March 11, 2012, in a CIAA baseball contest at Buffaloe Road Park.

The Falcons (7-16 overall, 2-1 CIAA) took two victories in the three-game season series over the weekend. Both teams split a doubleheader on Saturday.

Todd's two-run double in the eighth inning helped the Falcons push four runs across the plate to break a 5-5 tie. Clarence Ganus (Jr./Whiteville, N.C.) pitched a scoreless ninth inning with the help of a double play to secure the win for the Falcons.

The Falcons recorded 13 hits in the win. Pat Hall (Jr./Virginia Beach, Va.) added a home run and Wayne Lewis (Sr./Charlotte, N.C.) smacked an RBI triple for the Falcons. Luis Perez (Fr./Hampton, Va.) went 4-for-4 with one RBI while Calvin Butcher (Soph./New Castle, Del.) and Sterling James (Fr./New Castle, Del.) each drove in a run. Ganus earned the victory with two scoreless innings.

The Falcons visit Claflin University in Orangeburg, S.C., on Tuesday in the first doubleheader of a week-long road trip. The first game begins at 1 p.m.
