RALEIGH, N.C. – Saint Augustine's College lost both games of a baseball doubleheader to Paine College Monday (March 5) at Buffaloe Road Park. The final scores were 6-2 in the first game and 7-2 in the second game.

The Falcons scored in the first game on an RBI groundout by Wayne Lewis (Sr./Charlotte, N.C.) in the third inning and an error which scored Anthony Holloway (Sr./New Bern, N.C.) in the fifth. The Falcons scored in the second game on an RBI double by Pat Hall (Jr./Virginia Beach, Va.) in the second inning and a sacrifice fly for an RBI by Luis Perez (Fr./Hampton, Va.) in the third. The score was tied 2-2 late, but Paine (6-8 overall) scored five runs in the sixth inning to gain the win.

The Falcons (5-13 overall) host Davis & Elkins College in a doubleheader Wednesday at USA Baseball Complex in Cary, N.C. The first game starts at 1 p.m.
