Six teams from Saint Augustine's College will compete in the CIAA Spring Championships, which will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 thru Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Petersburg, Va.
 
Saint Augustine's College is participating in the following sports: baseball, men's golf, men's and women's outdoor track & field, men's tennis and softball. The Falcons are the 14-time defending champions in men's track and field.
 
The CIAA baseball tournament is set for Thursday thru Saturday at Whaley Colbert Field on the campus of Virginia State University. The Falcons, seeded fourth, face top seed and defending champion Winston-Salem State University Thursday on the first day of the double elimination tournament at 1 p.m. The loser plays at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
 
The CIAA men's golf tournament begins Thursday and concludes Friday at Cardinal Golf Club in nearby Fort Lee, Va. Tee time for both days is 8 a.m. The CIAA men's tennis tournament will run from Thursday thru Saturday on the campus of Virginia State University starting at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Seedings will be determined by Thursday.
 
The CIAA outdoor track & field championships is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Rogers Stadium on the campus of Virginia State University. The starting time for both days is 10 a.m.
 
The CIAA softball tournament starts Thursday and finishes Saturday. The Lady Falcons, seeded third in the Southern Division, opens tournament play Thursday against Bowie State University, the No. 2 seed in the Northern Division, at noon. The victor plays at 5 p.m. in the winner's bracket and the loser plays at 2:30 p.m. in the elimination bracket on Thursday. The site of the first-round games is the Petersburg Softball Complex.
 
The rain date for each tournament with the exception of men's golf is Sunday, April 22, 2012. Admission is free to the three-day event.
