The Falcons also win the first game 7-4 to sweep their opponent.

Edwards tossed a three-hitter in seven innings to give the Falcons their fifth consecutive win. Ariel Polonco (Sr./Harlem, N.Y.) smashed a solo homer for the Falcons, who are 16-8 overall. They lead the CIAA standings at 6-0.

The Falcons captured the first game behind the hitting of Darren Burks (Jr./Matteson, Ill.), who was 2-for-2 with 2 RBI. Pat Hall (Sr./Virginia Beach, Va.) added an RBI and Steve Hamilton (Sr./Chicago, Ill.) scattered seven hits in seven innings for the pitching victory.
