WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Saint Augustine's University will face Winston-Salem State University in a CIAA four-game baseball series at BB&T Ballpark this weekend. Both teams will play seven-inning doubleheaders on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16. Game times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days.

St. Aug and WSSU have combined to win the last four CIAA championships. St. Aug won the crown in 2010, and WSSU took home the title in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Both have contended for first place in the regular season since WSSU re-joined the CIAA in baseball in 2011. This season, St. Aug is second in the CIAA standings at 3-1 and WSSU is third at 5-3 entering this weekend.

Calvin Butcher (New Castle, DE). The St. Aug second baseman leads the CIAA in stolen bases (19) and ranks fifth in RBIs (14). Sophomore
William Thomas (Yorktown, VA) ranks third in the league in RBIs (16) and
Bryan Rivera (Puerto Rico) ranks second in strikeouts (32).
