Jamie Scott (Hampton, VA) led Saint Augustine's University with two RBIs and tied for team honors with three hits in CIAA baseball doubleheader losses to Winston-Salem State University at BB&T Ballpark on Saturday, March 15, 2014. The Falcons lost 7-6 in nine innings in the first game and 4-1 in the second game.

Clarence Peace (Creedmoor, NC) scored two runs and homered for the Falcons. The foursome of Peace, freshman
Corey Fields (Upper Marlboro, MD), sophomore
Jordan Wright (Hampton, VA) and junior
Sterling James (New Castle, DE) each drove in a run.
Scott had both of his RBIs on two hits in the first game. Peace was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored, and Baytop was 2-for-4 with one run scored for the Falcons, who outhit the Rams 11-10. Wright and Fields each added an RBI and sophomore
William Thomas (Yorktown, VA) was 2-for-4.
The Falcons rallied from a 5-0 deficit with three runs in the fifth inning and two runs in the sixth inning to tie the game. Peace started the fifth inning with a home run. Fields singled and scored on a Scott single. James reached base on a fielder's choice and scored on Wright's single. In the sixth inning, Baytop hit a single and later scored on an error. Scott singled to score Peace, who reached base on a walk.
The Falcons took a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh inning when sophomore
K'shjuan Davis (Baltimore, MD) scored on wild pitch. Davis pinch ran for Thomas, who reached base on a single. The Rams tied the score in the bottom of the seventh and won with a run in the bottom of the ninth.
James knocked in the Falcons' only run in the second game, scoring Scott on a single in the third inning. Scott reached base on a single.
The Falcons are 3-3 in the CIAA and 9-17 overall. The Rams are 7-3 in the CIAA and 16-9 overall.
Both teams will conclude the weekend series with a doubleheader on Sunday at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem, N.C. Game times are 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
