Baseball Series Vs. Virginia State Moved To Sunday and Monday (March 30-31)

The Saint Augustine's University four-game baseball series versus Virginia State University this weekend has been moved one day to Sunday, March 30 and Monday, March 31 due to inclement weather. The site is Colbert Field on the Virginia State campus in Ettrick, Va. Game times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. both days.

The Falcons are looking to make a move up the CIAA standings. They are currently fourth at 3-5 and Virginia State is second at 10-5.

The Falcons are led offensively by Jamie Scott (Sr./Hampton, VA), William Thomas (Soph./Yorktown, VA) and Calvin Butcher (Sr./New Castle, DE). Scott leads the team and ranks fifth in the CIAA in batting average (.353). Thomas leads the Falcons in RBIs (19) and Butcher is tied for the conference lead in stolen bases (22). Pitcher Bryan Rivera (Cida, Puerto Rico) is tied for third in the league in strikeouts (33).
