CARY, N.C. – After a long break due to inclement weather, Saint Augustine's University returns to action on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, when the Falcons host Davis & Elkins College at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. The first game begins at noon followed by the second game at approximately 2 p.m. Admission is free.
The Falcons last played on February 15 against Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C. Since then, three doubleheaders involving the Falcons have been canceled due to inclement weather.
The Falcons enter Tuesday's non-conference doubleheader at 1-8 overall. They are led by Preseason All-CIAA centerfielder Jason Baytop (Jr./Manchester, MD), who leads the team in hits (16) and batting average (.471). The Senators are 0-1 overall after losing to Catawba 11-0 on Monday, March 2.
The Falcons hit the road Wednesday, March 4 to visit Francis Marion University for a single game in Florence, S.C. The contest begins at Sparrow Stadium at 3 p.m.
