RALEIGH, NC (Feb 17) – On Saturday, Feb. 18, Saint Augustine's University will face Benedict College in a baseball twinbill at Tiger Field in Columbia, S.C. Game times are 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The Falcons (4-6 overall) are back on the baseball diamond after winning three out of four games against Claflin University last weekend. Timothy Carter (Sr./Lumberton, NC) leads the team with a .357 batting average and is tied with Johnathan Sierra (So./Raleigh, NC) for the most RBIs (8). Corey Brassington (Sr./Raleigh, NC) has the most stolen bases (10) for the Falcons.
The Tigers (2-0 overall) swept Bluefield State College in their season-opening doubleheader last weekend. Joel Manzano batted .714 with five hits and two RBIs in two games against Bluefield State.
After playing Benedict, the Falcons will visit the University of Mount Olive in a single game in Mount Olive, N.C. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.
