The Falcons Host Mount Olive And Francis Marion On Consecutive Days
RALEIGH, NC (Feb 27) – On Tuesday, Feb. 28 and Wednesday, March 1, Saint Augustine's University will host baseball games on consecutive days at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. The Falcons will square off against the University of Mount Olive on Tuesday at 2 p.m. and Francis Marion University on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Admission is free to both games.
Michael Keels (R-Sr./Manning, SC) leads the Falcons (6-8 overall) in batting average (.365) and hits (19). Timothy Carter (Sr./Lumberton, NC) is the second-leading batter (.346) and the team leader in RBIs (14).
Ricky Surum leads Mount Olive (11-4 overall) in batting average (.474) and RBIs (20) and is tied for the team lead in home runs (4). Reese Cooley bats .404 for Francis Marion (13-2 overall) and paces the team in hits (23), RBIs (18) and home runs (4).
