SAU Baseball Faces William Peace At USA Baseball National Training Complex Tuesday (March 27)

RALEIGH, N.C. (March 26) – Saint Augustine's University takes on neighboring William Peace University in a nine-inning baseball game on Tuesday, March 27, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. The contest begins at 4 p.m.

Carson Davis (Jr./Oakboro, NC) and Nick Roets (Fr./Charlotte, NC) are the Falcons' top hitters. Roets leads the Falcons (10-16 overall) with a .346 batting average and has 10 RBIs. Davis bats .342 with 13 RBIs and 12 doubles, which ranks eighth nationally in Division II. Ruben Pinero (R-Sr./Bronx, NY) is the Falcons' RBI leader (16).

Marquis Johnson (Sr./Richmond, VA) is among the nation's top Division II pitchers. He ranks 22^nd in the country in earned run average (1.26) and has 38 strikeouts. Amilcar Yanez (Jr./Valencia, Venezuela) has a 2.70 ERA with 40 strikeouts.

Alec Allred leads the Pacers (11-14 overall) in batting average (.407) and runs batted in (15). He is tied for the team lead in runs scored (14).
