SAU Baseball Visits Virginia State This Weekend (April 14-15)

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 13) – Saint Augustine's University visits Virginia State University in a four-game baseball series in Ettrick, Va., this weekend.

A doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15, at Whaley Colbert Field on the Virginia State campus at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. both days. Follow the series on live stats at vsutrojans.com and saintaugfalcons.com.

Both the Falcons and Trojans were long-time members of the CIAA conference but are independent teams this year. The Falcons enter the weekend at 11-20 overall and the Trojans are 17-12-1 overall.

The Falcons' top hitters are Carson Davis (Jr./Oakboro, NC) and Nick Roets (Fr./Charlotte, NC) with both players batting over .300. Aaron Harris leads the Trojans with a .433 batting average.
