SAU Volleyball Falls To Winston-Salem State

RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 28) - Saint Augustine's University fell to Winston-Salem State University 3-0 in a CIAA women's volleyball match at Whitaker Gymnasium in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Monday.

Brittany Jamison (Sr./Charleston, SC) recorded five kills and Deandra Small (Fr./St. Philip, Barbados) added three kills, two blocks and 13 digs for the Lady Falcons, who lost 25-11, 25-8, 25-15. Janina Mayers (So./Christ Church, Barbados) also had 13 digs and Chandra Mackey (Jr./Nassau, Bahamas) finished with nine assists and six digs.

Niyonna McIntyre tallied nine kills, two aces and two blocks for the Rams (5-3 Southern Division, 10-3 CIAA, 13-8 overall).

The Lady Falcons (0-7 Southern Division, 0-12 CIAA, 0-12 overall) are off until next week when they visit Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, N.C. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Match time is 6 p.m.
