RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 16) - Dhashon Dyson (So./Chicago, IL) scored 17 points and Josh Page (Sr./Washington, DC) added 15 points as Saint Augustine's University toppled Virginia-Lynchburg 81-64 Tuesday for its first victory of the season.
Spencer Washington (So./Dallas, TX) finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three blocks for the Falcons (1-2 overall), who shot 65.5 percent in the first half to open a 50-31 halftime lead.
Todd Smith (Sr./Burlington, NC) and Moses Mupungu (Jr./Congo, Africa) each scored nine points as the Falcons won nearly every major statistical category including field goal percentage (49.3 to 32.1), rebounds (43-28), points in the paint (44-12), points off turnovers (25-13), second chance points (16-6) and bench points (37-10).
Alexander Faulkner scored 15 points and Dominique Williams added 14 points for the Dragons (0-5 overall).
