RALEIGH, NC (Oct. 11) – Saint Augustine's University (SAU) placed second in the men's 8K race at the Bowie State Cross Country Classic on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Jericho Park in Bowie, MD.  

Lincoln (PA) won the men's race with 33 points, followed by SAU with 46 points. Bowie State placed third with 53 points. 

Individually, Robert Edwards Jr. (Sr./Pembroke, Bermuda) of SAU was first with a time of 23:26.50. The Lincoln (PA) duo of Irvin Marable (24:06.80), and Nathaniel Baker (24:51.70) were second, and third respectively. Isaiah Chapman (Fr./Raleigh, NC) finished fourth with a time of 25:16.00, and Sean Kalawan (So./Westmoreland, Jamaica) finished tenth with a time of 26:53.10.
