Salisbury, NC. – The Saint Augustine's women's basketball team struggled on the road against CIAA opponent Livingstone College. After an impressive start to the game in which the Lady Falcons ripped off a 14-2 run to end the first quarter, the team struggled from that point on to halt the Blue Bears' defense. The Blue Bears managed to gather themselves in the second quarter and finished the half on a 21-7 run. The Lady Falcons had a season-high 29 turnovers, which proved costly on the road. SAU was unable to muster much offense, and the Blue Bears took the victory 64-52.
The Lady Falcons were led by Raquel Cassidy with 11 points and 9 rebounds.
