Raleigh, NC. – The Saint Augustine's women's basketball team lost to the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls at home in Emery Gymnasium 59-40. After averaging over 80 points the past two games, the Lady Falcons were slowed by the Lady Golden Bulls' stifling defense.
The Lady Falcons were led by Taniyah Greene with 12 points, and Raquel Cassidy finished with a near double-double of 9 points and 10 rebounds.
Head Coach Ebony Tanner Postgame Comments
"This game was a disappointing loss for us on tonight. I'd hope we would have came out with a little bit more confidence off the last two games, but just like any other game you gotta have a short memory. We play again in a few days, so we'll get back in the lab and fix the things that we need to fix."
