SAU Volleyball Falls To Fayetteville State At Home

RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 25) – Saint Augustine's University fell to Fayetteville State University 3-0 in a CIAA volleyball match at Emery Gymnasium on Thursday.

Mechelle Moss (So./Nassau, Bahamas) recorded six kills and six digs for the Lady Falcons. Brittany Jamison (Jr./Charleston, SC) registered five kills and Janina Mayers (Fr./Christ Church, Barbados) totaled four kills and four digs. Zoey Isom (Sr./Phoenix, AZ) had 10 assists and Chandra Mackey (So./Nassau, Bahamas) tallied eight digs.

Teeya McLean pace the Broncos (10-4 CIAA Southern Division, 10-11 overall) with 10 kills and six block assists. Chynna Hunt added nine kills and seven assists and Bojo Jada collected eight kills.

The Lady Falcons (3-11 CIAA Southern Division, 3-14 overall) play four matches next week beginning with Livingstone College on Monday, Oct. 29. The match begins at 6 p.m. in Salisbury, N.C.
