SAU Bowling Qualifies For CIAA Championship Tourney, Competes Saturday (March 23)

RALEIGH, N.C. (March 21) – Saint Augustine's University (SAU) qualified for the CIAA Women's Bowling Championship tournament and will compete in the event this weekend.
 
The CIAA Championship takes place in Virginia Beach, Va., on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24. The site is AMF Lynnhaven Lanes on 2601 Lishelle Place. Admission is free.
 
The Lady Falcons enter the double-elimination tournament as the No. 8 seed. The top eight CIAA teams during the regular season advance to the CIAA Championship Tournament.
 
The SAU women face top-seed Fayetteville State University in one of four first-round matches beginning approximately at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday. The opening ceremony starts at 10:35 a.m.
 
The CIAA Sports Network (theciaasn.com) will show the tournament on tape delay.
