SAU Men's Basketball Provides Highlights Against Division I Campbell In Exhibition Game

BUIES CREEK, N.C. (Oct. 23) – The Saint Augustine's University (SAU) men's basketball team debuted against Division I Campbell in an exhibition game Friday at Gore Arena, and although the score was in the Camels' favor (75-48), several Falcons provided highlights to get fans excited about the regular season.

Dhashon Dyson led the Falcons with 14 points on 6 of 14 shooting including two three-pointers. He also grabbed four rebounds and collected two steals.

Dreshaun Brown and Josh Page both added eight points and Spencer Washington chipped in seven points. Sean Tony Hauser and Moses Mupungu grabbed six rebounds and five rebounds, respectively, and Daveon Dunn had five assists and two steals.

The Falcons displayed defensive quickness as they tallied nine steals, led by three steals from Christopher Hill.

SAU opens the regular season Nov. 12-13 at the MEC/PSAC Tip-Off Challenge in Charleston, W.Va. Its home opener is Nov. 16 against Virginia-Lynchburg at Emery Gymnasium.
