Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 20) – The Saint Augustine's University volleyball team defeated Livingstone College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-16) inside Emery Gymnasium.

SAU bounced back from a close road loss to Fayetteville State by improving to (6-7, 6-7 CIAA), placing them in third place in the CIAA Southern Division.

The Lady Falcons responded to an early run by the Blue Bears by tying the set at 12-all, The Lady Falcons never looked back, and SAU finished the set on a 13-5 scoring run to take the set 25-17 and lead the match 1-0.

SAU started set two in close exchange and tied the set at 7-all. SAU quickly took control and finished the set on a 19-5 run to take set two, 25-12, and lead the match 2-0.

In the third set, SAU withstood an early run by the Blue Bears that resulted in an SAU timeout. After the timeout, the momentum swayed in favor of the Lady Falcons as they tied the match at 10 and then took the lead and eventually won the set 25-16 and the match 3-0.

The Lady Falcons return to action in the division against Claflin University on Monday, Oct. 24, in Orangeburg, SC.
