SEASON STATS The Saint Augustine's men's basketball team suffered its sixth-straight loss to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders 77-61. The Falcons trailed for the majority of the first half and were down big at the half 47-31. With a new mindset coming out of the half, the Falcons were able to force turnovers and find their offense led by sophomore point guard
Christopher Hill (So./Charlotte, NC)'s outside shooting. With a red-hot start to the half, the Falcons cut the lead to one after going on a 16-1 run bringing the score to 48-47 with 14:33 to play in the half. The contest went back and forth for the next 8 minutes with the Falcons down two at 61-59 with 6:23 to play. However, the Crusaders pulled away on a 16-2 run to close out the game.
The Falcons were led by Christopher Hill with 17 points and three steals. He went 4-6 from 3 as well. The only other player in double-figures was Jaylen Richard (Sr./Durham, NC) who struggled all night to find his shot. He finished with 11 points on 4-15 shooting.

- The Falcons are currently on a six-game losing streak
- SAU's bench scored 28 points, and outscored its counterparts by 11 (28-17)
- Christopher Hill's 17 points are a season-high after a tough three-game scoring slump

- Christopher Hill scored 15 of his team-high 17 points in the second half
- The Falcons went 5-8 (62.5%) from 3 in the second half and were a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line
- Belmont Abbey doubled SAU's points in the paint margin by 10 in the second half 20-10
