The Falcons trailed for the majority of the first half and were down big at the half 47-31. With a new mindset coming out of the half, the Falcons were able to force turnovers and find their offense led by sophomore point guard Christopher Hill (So./Charlotte, NC)'s outside shooting. The contest went back and forth for the next 8 minutes with the Falcons down two at 61-59 with 6:23 to play. However, the Crusaders pulled away on a 16-2 run to close out the game.

The Falcons were led by Christopher Hill with 17 points and three steals. He went 4-6 from 3 as well. The only other player in double-figures was Jaylen Richard (Sr./Durham, NC) who struggled all night to find his shot. He finished with 11 points on 4-15 shooting.
