RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 6) - Ruth Jepkogei (Fr./Eldoret, Kenya) of Saint Augustine's University ran the fastest 5,000-meter time in the CIAA this season at the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Va., on Saturday, Feb. 5. 

Jepkogei placed ninth in the event with a time of 21:32.28. She ran the event's fourth fastest Division II time at the meet, which was held at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
