RALEIGH, NC --Madison Jones racked up 13 kills with an .800 attack percentage to help lead the Saint Augustine's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory (25-17, 25-22, 25-10) against the Livingstone Blue Bears Monday at home at Emery Gymnasium.
The conference victory improved Saint Augustine's' record to 4-9 overall and 4-3 in CIAA action.
La'Tavia Braynen and SiAyera Boone added 8 kills a piece to the Falcons offense while they also got 17 digs from Nayara Pereira to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | Saint Augustine's carried momentum from a set-one win by earning a 25-22 victory in set number two. The Falcons never trailed by more than five points and grabbed the advantage for good at 13-12 in a set that showcased two lead changes before the Falcons took over the lead.
SET 3 | Saint Augustine's took the third set to finish off the match. The Falcons grabbed control of the set early when the score was 2-1 and never trailed to win 25-10. Saint Augustine's ended on a strong note, opening up its biggest lead of the stanza, 15 points, to close out the set. The Saint Augustine's offense also got a boost from nine aces in the stanza.
