Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

SAU falls to Winston-Salem State in overtime

Raleigh, NC. – The Saint Augustine's men's basketball team lost its 9th straight CIAA contest to the Winston-Salem State University Rams 72-70. The Falcons drop to 5-16 on the season and 2-10 in the conference.

The Falcons had four players finish in double-figures. Led by Jaylen Richard with 20, George Jones with 13, Chance Jamison with 10, and Nemo Johnson's double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Head Coach Chucky Brown's Post game Comments

"I thought we played hard. Another great opportunity to get a win. Down the stretch we had a couple of turnovers that hurt us, but the overall effort was there. We just didn't finish. I thought that we played better -- last game we lost by two -- I think we're playing better, we just got to finish. This one hurt, a little bit more than the last one, but we just have to stay positive."
