RALEIGH, NC --The Saint Augustine's men's basketball team out-rebounded the Fayetteville State Broncos 35-31, but fell 72-65 at home Saturday.
The Falcons (12-16, 8-11) had three players score in double figures, led by Jawan Browder, who had 17 points and two steals. Jordan Love tacked on 14 points and eight rebounds and George Jones helped out with 13 points and six rebounds.
Led by Nemo Johnson's five offensive rebounds, Saint Augustine's did a great job crashing the offensive glass, pulling down 16 boards that resulted in 14 second chance points.
Saint Augustine's did a great job disrupting Fayetteville State shots in the contest, coming away with seven blocks. Chris Volo led the way individually for the Falcons with two rejections.
