HAMPTON, Va. - Fayetteville State University ousted Saint Augustine's College by a 3-0 score in the 2009 CIAA Volleyball Tournament semifinals on Saturday (Nov. 7) at Boo Williams SportsPlex.

The Lady Broncos won 25-20, 25-20, 25-23 to advance to the 2009 CIAA Championship match, where they will face Chowan University at 1 p.m. Chowan topped Elizabeth City State in the other semifinal match 3-0.

The Lady Falcons, who finished third in the Western Division during the regular season,  ended their season at 20-16. The Lady Broncos, last season's tournament runner-up, improved to 17-8.
