SALISBURY, N.C. – CIAA player of the week Kathryn Tokarski (Jr./Saskatchewan, Canada) collected 12 kills to lead Saint Augustine's College to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-23) volleyball win over Livingstone College Thursday at New Trent Gymnasium.

Tokarski, an outside hitter, added seven digs for the Lady Falcons, who improved to 6-4 overall, 4-1 in the CIAA and 1-0 in the South Division. Stephony Newkirk (Sr./Greenville, N.C.) and Shakira Carter (Sr./St. Michael, Barbados) both added six kills, and Roxanne Smith (Jr./St. Catherine, Jamaica) contributed 29 assists and six digs. Nicolette Campbell (Jr./Nassau, Bahamas) added six digs as well.

Livingstone (3-3, 1-1, 0-1) were led by Michelle Thompson with11 kills and Lashaundra Ferguson with 10 kills. Thompson added seven digs and Shannon Allen had 18 assists and six digs for the Lady Blue Bears.

Both the Lady Falcons and the Lady Blue Bears will participate in the second edition of the CIAA Round-Up this weekend. The event will be held in Fayetteville, N.C.
