GAFFNEY, S.C. - Saint Augustine's College had a tough day Saturday (Sept. 10) at the 2011 Limestone College Classic. The Lady Falcons lost to both Brenau University and Southern Wesleyan University by 3-0 scores.

The Lady Falcons were in a close battle against Brenau, losing 25-23, 25-17, 25-23. Senior Keisha Parris (St. Catherine, Jamaica) led the Lady Falcons with 10 kills and 14 digs. Senior Kathryn Tokarski (Saskatchewan, Canada) added nine kills and senior Roxanne Smith (St. Catherine, Jamaica) contributed 26 assists. Brenau improved to 5-3 with the win.

The match against Southern Wesleyan wasn't as close. The Lady Falcons lost 25-9, 25-17, 25-13. Tokarski paced the Lady Falcons with six kills and eight digs. Smith added 16 assists and 15 digs.
Southern Wesleyan stayed unbeaten at 11-0.

The Lady Falcons (0-6) are still seeking their first win. They will try again next weekend at the CIAA Round-Up in Hampton, Va.
