FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Brittany Hicks (Sr./Louisburg, N.C.) led Saint Augustine's University with 11 kills, but the Lady Falcons fell 3-0 to Elizabeth City State University on the final day of the CIAA Volleyball Round-Up II on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. The site of the Round-up was Capel Arena on Fayetteville State University's campus.

Na'Chanelle Brown (Fr./Columbia, S.C.) added seven kills and Julieesa Thomas (Fr./St. Croix, US VI) had 26 assists and seven digs for the Lady Falcons. Cierra Neal (So./New Hill, N.C.) tied Thomas for team-high honors with seven digs. Whitney Green led ECSU with 13 kills and Danielle Kiser added 16 assists and 12 digs for the Lady Vikings, who won 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.

The Lady Falcons are 4-13 overall and 4-5 in the CIAA after this past weekend. The Lady Vikings are 9-6 and 8-2 in the CIAA. The Lady Falcons host their first home match of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, against Livingstone College. The match starts at 6 p.m. at Emery Gymnasium on campus.
