Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Victoria Davis (Sr./San Diego, CA) finished with eight kills for Saint Augustine's University in a CIAA volleyball three-set loss to Fayetteville State University at Capel Arena on Monday, October 28, 2013.

Skyla Isidore (Jr./Morne Castries, St. Lucia) added five kills and Julieesa Thomas (Soph./St. Croix, US VI) tallied 10 assists for the Lady Falcons. Kayla Cason (Fr./Virginia Beach, VA) added 17 digs.

Joylene Thompson and Samira Luis had eight kills apiece for the Lady Broncos, who won 25-21, 25-20, 25-19. Nikita Cheadle had 14 assists, JaMisha Jordan contributed 13 digs and DaQuondra Cuthbertson chipped in five blocking assists.

The loss dropped the Lady Falcons to 8-14 overall, 8-7 in the CIAA and 5-4 in the Southern Division. Despite the defeat, the Lady Falcons will qualify for the CIAA Tournament, which will be held November 16-17. The top four teams in the Southern Division and the top four teams in the Northern Division advance to the conference tourney. The Lady Broncos are 12-7 overall, 10-4 in the CIAA and 6-2 in the Southern Division.

The Lady Falcons step out the conference to host Mount Olive College on Saturday, November 2 at Emery Gymnasium. Match time is 6 p.m.
