St. Aug Volleyball Falls To Fayetteville State

Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. - Victoria Davis (Sr./San Diego, Calif.) led Saint Augustine's University with seven kills in a 3-0 CIAA women's volleyball loss to Fayetteville State University at Emery Gymnasium on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.

Skyla Isidore (Jr./Morne Castries, St. Lucia) added six kills and eight digs, Kayla Cason (Fr./Virginia Beach, Va.) dished out 13 assists while Julieesa Thomas (Soph./St. Croix, US Virgin Islands) had 11 digs for the Lady Falcons. Shavon Shaw sparked the Lady Broncos with 10 kills and Samira Luis added 9 kills and seven assists. Molly Farrington and Paige Horne contributed 13 and 10 assists, respectively, in the Lady Broncos' 25-16, 25-9, 25-17 victory.

The Lady Falcons dropped to 4-8 overall, 4-5 in the CIAA and 1-2 in the Southern Division. The Lady Broncos improved to 8-3 overall, 6-3 in the CIAA and 2-1 in the Southern Division.

The Lady Falcons are back in action at home on Sunday, October 6, 2013. They host Virginia-Lynchburg in a non-conference match at Emery Gymnasium starting at 10 a.m.
