St. Aug Falls to Mount Olive In Non-Conference Volleyball Match

Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. – Skyla Isidore (Jr./Morne Castries, St. Lucia) led Saint Augustine's University with nine kills in a three-set non-conference volleyball loss to Mount Olive College at Emery Gymnasium on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Julieesa Thomas (Soph./St. Croix, US VI) totaled 14 assists and Kayla Cason (Fr./Virginia Beach, VA) tallied nine digs for the Lady Falcons, who fell to 8-15 overall. Mount Olive (12-13 overall) was sparked by Carly White with nine kills and Elyse Keating with 19 assists.

The Lady Trojans won the first two sets 25-18. The Lady Falcons led 11-8 in the third set but a net malfunction stopped the match and the Lady Trojans were awarded the victory.

The Lady Falcons play their final home match on Monday, November 4, 2013, against Livingstone College at Emery Gymnasium. The contest will be designated as Senior Night. Match time is 6 p.m.
