Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. – Olivia Porter (Fr./Bakersfield, CA) paced Saint Augustine's University with 12 kills and eight digs as the Lady Falcons volleyball team defeated Livingstone College in three sets on Senior Night at Emery Gymnasium on Monday, November 4, 2013.
With the win, the Lady Falcons (9-15 overall, 9-7 CIAA, 6-4 Southern Division) clinched the Southern Division No. 3 seed for the CIAA Tournament, which starts Sunday, November 10. The preliminary rounds will be held at the site of the Southern Division and Northern Division top seeds on Sunday. The semifinals and finals will be held November 16-17 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Skyla Isidore (Jr./Tampa, FL) added eight kills, five service aces and eight digs for the Lady Falcons, who won 25-14, 26-24, 25-13.
Jamie Goff (Sr./Tampa, FL) chipped in seven kills and Julieesa Thomas (Soph./St. Croix, US Virgin Islands) contributed 23 assists and 11 digs.
Kayla Cason (Fr./Virginia Beach, VA) led the Lady Falcons with 22 digs and added four service aces while
Meghan Mahon (Fr./Houston, TX) had nine assists.
Lareecia Swiney led the Lady Blue Bears with eight kills. Lapria Saunders collected nine assists and Iman Isom has 13 digs. The Lady Blue Bears fell to 15-16 overall, 5-12 in the CIAA and 2-8 in the Southern Division.
The Lady Falcons outhit the Lady Blue Bears .235 to .110 and held a 15-3 advantage in service aces. They also finished with 55 digs to 41 for the Lady Blue Bears.

Temperance Jacobs (McDonough, GA),
Victoria Davis (San Diego, CA) and Goff were honored between the second and third sets. Each received a gift for their service to the volleyball team.
The match concluded the home schedule for the Lady Falcons. They finish the regular season at the King University Tri-Match on Wednesday, November 6 in Bristol, Tenn. The Lady Falcons take on King University at 2:30 p.m. and Converse College at 4:45 p.m.
