St. Aug Ends Regular Season With Losses at King Tri-Match

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BRISTOL, Tenn. – Several players stood out for the Saint Augustine's University volleyball team at the King Tri-Match played at the King Student Center on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

Victoria Davis (Sr./San Diego, CA) led the Lady Falcons with 11 kills and 14 digs in a three-set loss to Converse College. Skyla Isidore (Jr./Morne Castries, St. Lucia) added eight kills and Olivia Porter finished with seven kills. Julieesa Thomas (Soph./St. Croix, US Virgin Islands) handed out 25 assists and Kayla Cason (Fr./Virginia Beach, Va.) tallied 10 digs for the Lady Falcons in a 25-17, 25-19, 25-12 defeat. Katie Butler led Converse with 10 kills.

Earlier, both Isidore and Porter totaled six kills each and Davis had five kills in a three-set loss to host King University. Thomas had 12 assists and Cason compiled 12 digs for the Lady Falcons in the 25-11, 25-17, 25-19 defeat. Lauren Willoughby paced King with 10 kills.

The Tri-Match concluded the regular season for the Lady Falcons, who are 9-14 overall. They earned the Southern Division No. 3 seed with a 6-4 division record and will face Chowan University, the Northern Division No. 2 seed, in the first round of the CIAA Tournament at Winston-Salem State University on Sunday, November 10. The match starts at 9 a.m.
