Saint Augustine's University will take on Chowan University in the opening round of the CIAA Women's Volleyball Tournament at the C.E. Gaines Center on the campus of Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Sunday, November 10, 2013. The Lady Falcons, the No. 3 Southern Division seed, are one of eight teams who qualified for the tournament. They are one of four teams headed to Winston-Salem State for double-elimination pool play. Virginia State is the other first-round site. Both Winston-Salem State and Virginia State won the Southern and Northern Division titles, respectively.

The Winston-Salem State site includes No. 2 Northern Division seed Chowan, No. 1 Southern Division seed Winston-Salem State and No. 4 Northern Division seed Virginia Union University. The Virginia State site includes No. 1 Northern Division seed Virginia State, No. 2 Southern Division seed Fayetteville State University, No. 3 Northern Division seed Elizabeth City State University and No. 4 Southern Division seed Johnson C. Smith University.

The top two teams at each site will advance to the semifinal round on Saturday, November 16 at the Gaines Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Both semifinal matches begin at 10 a.m. The CIAA Championship Match will be held at the Gaines Center Sunday, November 17 at 1 p.m.
