Saint Augustine's University travels to Fayetteville, N.C., on Thursday, October 2, 2014, to square off against two-time defending CIAA champion Fayetteville State University in a CIAA Southern Division women's volleyball match at Capel Arena. The match begins at 6 p.m.

After a weekend in which they finished 2-1 overall against Northern Division opponents at the CIAA Round-Up II, the Lady Falcons are coming back to Capel Arena with momentum. The Round-Up was held in Capel Arena.

The Lady Falcons (0-2 Southern Division, 3-5 CIAA, 3-10 overall) are led by a quartet of players.
Olivia Porter (So./Bakersfield, CA) ranks third in kills (137) and fifth in kills per set (2.91) in the CIAA.
Mikayla Pettyjohn (Fr./Jamestown, NC) is second in the conference in blocks per set (0.89) and
Meghan Mahon (So./Houston, TX) is third in digs (172) and fifth in digs per set (3.66) in the league.
Juliseea Thomas (Jr./St. Croix, US VI) ranks seventh in digs (136), eighth in assists (213), ninth in assists per set (4.53) and 10
th in digs per set (2.89).

The Lady Falcons will tangle with a Lady Broncos' squad featuring Samira Luis, who ranks second in the CIAA in kills per set (3.59), and Ashley Britton, who is fourth in blocks per set (0.84). Decausha McLean ranks fourth in digs per set (3.68) and Leah Mackley ranks second in the CIAA in assists per set (9.32).

The Lady Broncos (2-0 Southern Division, 7-1 CIAA, 8-2 overall) have continued their winning ways from the previous two seasons when they claimed back-to-back CIAA titles. They are currently tied with Johnson C. Smith University atop the Southern Division.
