Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Led by the hitting of Olivia Porter (So./Bakersfield, CA) and Akera McPhaul (Fr./Greensboro, NC), Saint Augustine's University won both of its volleyball matches at the CIAA Round-Up II at Capel Arena on Saturday, September 27, 2014. The Lady Falcons defeated Bowie State in three sets and The Lincoln (Pa.) University in four sets.
 
In the Bowie State win, Porter topped the Lady Falcons with eight kills and McPhaul added seven kills in the 25-17, 25-15, 25-22 victory. Juliseea Thomas (Jr./St. Croix, US VI) and Meghan Mahon (So./Houston, TX) each had nine assists and Thomas tied Marley Parker (Fr./Langley, British Columbia) with seven digs. Danyelle Noland (Fr./Nashville, NC) had a match-high four service aces.
 
Against The Lincoln (Pa.), Porter tallied a season-high19 kills in addition to 10 digs in a 25-19, 25-27, 25-21, 25-19 victory. McPhaul chipped in 10 kills and Thomas registered 20 assists and 12 digs. Parker also had 12 digs and Mahon contributed 12 assists and nine digs. Mikaya Pettyjohn (Fr./Jamestown, NC) collected three blocking assists.
 
The Lady Falcons return to action Sunday, September 28, in the CIAA Round-Up II. They face Virginia Union University at 1 p.m. at Capel Arena.
