Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Olivia Porter (Soph./Bakersfield, CA) totaled 13 kills in two matches for Saint Augustine's University, which opened its women's volleyball season in the Janet Collins Invitational at the Helms Center on Friday, September 5, 2014.

Porter finished with seven kills and seven digs in a three-set loss to Converse College. The score was 9-25, 17-25, 19-25.

She had six kills and six digs in a four-set defeat to Chowan University. The score was 13-25, 25-23, 10-25, 16-25.

In the Converse match, Julieesa Thomas (Jr./St. Croix, US VI) collected nine assists and six digs. Mikayla Pettyjohn (Fr./Jamestown, NC) and Akera McPhaul (Fr./Greensboro, NC) each had five kills. Meghan Mahon (So./Houston, TX) and Elisa Ray (Fr./Nashville, TN) each had five digs.

Against Chowan, Thomas totaled eight assists and 15 digs. Mahon had 13 digs and Danyelle Noland (Fr./Nashville, NC) finished with five kills and four digs.

The Lady Falcons will play both teams again in the Janet Collins Invitational on Saturday, September 6. They face Converse at noon and Chowan at 3 p.m.
