RALEIGH, N.C. – Saint Augustine's University suffered a 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-22) non-conference women's volleyball loss to Bluefield State College at Emery Gymnasium on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.

Olivia Porter (Jr./Bakersfield, CA) totaled five kills and six digs for the Lady Falcons. Juliseea Thomas (Sr./St. Croix, US Virgin Islands) added seven assists and six digs, and Akera McPhaul (So./Greensboro, NC) chipped in four kills.

Tyann Thomas finished with a match-high 12 kills for the Lady Blues (17-4 overall), who extended their win streak to 13 matches. Alee Quint handed out 33 assists, Jessie Rehwald added 13 digs and Tanasia Blake amassed three solo blocks and three blocking assists for the Lady Blues, who accumulated 11 team blocks.

The Lady Falcons (8-10 overall) played their best in the third set. Porter and McPhaul each had two kills while Thomas and Meghan Mahon (Jr./Houston, TX) collected three assists apiece. Marley Parker (So./Langley, British Columbia) added five digs and Thomas contributed three digs in the set.

The Lady Falcons return to conference action on Monday, Oct. 26, when they travel to face Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, N.C. The CIAA match begins at 7 p.m. at Whitaker Gymnasium.
