RALEIGH, N.C. – Saint Augustine's University will visit William Peace University in a women's volleyball rematch at the Hermann Athletic Center on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015.
This will be the second match between both teams in seven days. Last Wednesday, the Lady Falcons fell 3-0 to the Pacers at Emery Gymnasium.
The Lady Falcons (2-4 overall) are led by Olivia Porter (Jr./Bakersfield, CA), the CIAA leader in kills per set (3.78). Porter is also second in total kills (68) and third in hitting percentage (.259).
Porter is backed by a strong supporting cast. Zoey Isom (Fr./Phoenix, AZ) leads the CIAA in digs (84) and digs per set (4.67). Juliseea Thomas (Sr./St. Croix, US Virgin Islands) ranks fourth in assists per set (4.93) and Mikayla Pettyjohn (So./Jamestown, NC) is tied for fourth in blocks per set (0.78).
The Pacers (6-2 overall) have won three straight matches. They are led by Laura Bland and Liana Solomon.
