RALEIGH, NC (Oct 6) – On Thursday, Shakera Hall (So./Bridgetown, Barbados) led Saint Augustine's University with 11 kills in a three-set CIAA volleyball loss to Fayetteville State University at Capel Arena in Fayetteville, N.C.

Hall added nine digs and two service aces for the Lady Falcons (1-2 Southern Division, 6-9 overall), who lost 21-25, 15-25, 16-25. Meghan Mahon (Sr./Houston, TX) recorded 16 assists and Marley Parker (Jr./Langley, British Columbia) tied Hall with two service aces.

Jayde Jacobs, Raven Ousley-Brown and Samira Luis each had 10 kills for Fayetteville State (3-0 Southern Division, 9-3 overall). Nakia McKinnie totaled 21 assists and Arlicia Ortiz contributed 18 digs.

The Lady Falcons return home Monday, Oct. 10 to take on Livingstone College at Emery Gymnasium. The match begins at 6 p.m.
