Lady Falcons To Compete In CIAA Round-Up I
RALEIGH, NC (Sept 16) – Saint Augustine's University opens volleyball conference play in the CIAA Round-Up I at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, N.C.
The Lady Falcons face Chowan at 12 p.m. and Virginia State University at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. They take on Elizabeth City State University at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18.
The Lady Falcons (2-4 overall) are led by outside hitter Olivia Porter (Sr./Bakersfield, CA) and setter Meghan Mahon (Sr./Houston, TX). Porter leads the CIAA in kills (130) and kills per set (5.20) and Mahon is the league leader in assists per set (8.84).
Zoey Isom (So./Phoenix, AZ) is tied for second in the conference in digs (95) and ranks fourth in digs per set (3.80). Shakera Hall (So./Bridgetown, Barbados) is third in the CIAA in kills (82) and fourth in kills per set (3.28).
