RALEIGH, NC (Sept 29) – On Saturday, Oct. 1, Saint Augustine's University will attempt to stay unbeaten in the CIAA when the Falcons visit Virginia Union University at 1 p.m. The site is Hovey Field in Richmond, Va. Game notes are below.

The Falcons defeated Lincoln (Pa.) University 35-31 in their CIAA opener at the George Williams Athletic Complex last Saturday. The victory was the second straight in the conference for the Falcons. The two-game win streak dates back to 2015 when the Falcons beat crosstown rival Shaw University 31-24 in the season finale.
